🎓 Certificate Awarding Ceremony – Provincial Council Week 2025

With the objective of preserving a livable environment that meets the daily needs of the people,
under the Provincial Council Week 2025,
the Certificate Awarding Ceremony organized alongside the
“Sports, Certificate Awarding, and Closing Ceremony”
was held under the patronage of Deputy Minister of Housing Development T. B. Sarath
on September 21, 2025 at the Manampitiya Maithri Playground.

The event was attended by Chairman Gayan Chathuranga, Vice Chairman, Members of the Council, the Secretary, staff members, distinguished guests, and
a large number of residents from the Dimbulagala area.

Specially recognized moments during the ceremony included:

• 🎨 Presentation of certificates and medals to the winners of the Art Competition held on 2025.09.19
• 📚 Appreciation of students and teachers who achieved the highest marks in the Grade 5 Scholarship Examination
• 🏬 Evaluation of local businesses and shops within the region
• 🏏 Presentation of trophies to the winners of the cricket tournament

This ceremony served as a prestigious and proud concluding celebration recognizing the talents and contributions of the children, teachers, and local community of Dimbulagala.
