🏆 Sports and Certificate Awarding Ceremony and Closing Ceremony – Provincial Council Week 2025

Under the theme of “A Prosperous Country – A Beautiful Life: City of Revival”,
the Provincial Council Week 2025
Sports and Certificate Awarding Ceremony and Closing Ceremony
was held on September 21, 2025
at the Manampitiya Maithri Playground
under the patronage of Deputy Minister of Housing Development T. B. Sarath.

This event was attended by Chairman of Dimbulagala Pradeshiya Sabha Mr. Gayan Chathuranga, Vice Chairman, Members of the Council, the Secretary, staff members,
and a large number of residents from the Dimbulagala region.

🏆 The final match of the Dimbulagala Divisional Cricket Tournament –
which featured 12 youth teams –
was won by the youth team representing the Dimbulagala Division.

👥 A fun demonstration cricket match between the council members and staff was also held,
highlighting a spirit of unity and cooperation.

The goal of this program was to promote youth sportsmanship and foster
a healthy and united community.
