“City of Revival” – Provincial Council Week 2025

To create a safe and sustainable living environment that meets the daily needs of the community,
the third program of Provincial Council Week 2025 was successfully held on 2025.09.17
focusing on the Aralaganwila town area, under the vision of “A Prosperous Country – A Beautiful Life.”

Under the theme “A Healthy Life through a Clean Environment,”
a new Waste Management Center was officially established in Aralaganwila town.

The event was attended by Chairman Mr. Gayan Chathuranga, the Secretary, Division Members,
and the staff of the Dimbulagala Pradeshiya Sabha.

In addition, students of Wiyalaya National School and Public Health Inspectors
participated in conducting an awareness program on environmental conservation for children.

This program was recognized as a genuine step towards securing a cleaner and healthier future.
