“City of Revival” – Provincial Council Week 2025

To create a clean, safe, and livable environment that fulfills the daily needs of the community,
the third program of the “City of Revival” Provincial Council Week 2025
was successfully implemented on 2025.09.17, focusing on the Aralaganwila town area.

Under the theme “A Healthy Life through a Clean Environment,”
the public was informed about the official inclusion of Aralaganwila town
under the jurisdiction of the Urban Development Authority (UDA).

During the event, awareness was raised among the public regarding the planning process, legal frameworks, urban development policies,
and the importance of implementing zoned and systematic regional development activities.

This marks an important step toward establishing a scientifically planned, legally governed, and sustainably developed urban environment.
